BenPal aims to give all users a simple and user-friendly experience on the website.

To ensure this is the case, we have designed the site with a variety of accessibility features to make it easier to view and navigate for people with poor eyesight, blindness or other physical disabilities.

Please let us know if you have any questions, suggestions or other feedback to help us continue to improve the experience for all BenPal users.

Below are some of the features that have been built in to the site to help navigation and usability through text-only browsers, keyboard navigation and for screen reader users.

  • All content images have descriptive alt attributes.
  • Solely decorative graphics have empty alt attributes.

Font sizes

Change size through your browser:

  • Internet Explorer - select View, Text Size and then choose the preferred size.
  • Firefox – select View, Zoom, Zoom In/Out.

  • All forms follow a logical tab sequence.
  • All labels that are associated with fields use HTML label tabs.

Javascript is used to enhance usability but it is possible to browse the site without Javascript.

The website has been designed to make sure it is possible to read each page even if your browser/device doesn’t support stylesheets.
